UK law changed 2 weeks ago to deliver more letting agent fee transparency; a really good thing. Letting agents must now publish their fee rates.
I estimate that we could potentially save landlords and tenants, within just 2 miles of our Notting Hill Gate office, cumulatively, about £100 million a year in fees.
It would be great if the government also required agents to publish sales fees.
